Executive Sous Chef

What You Will Do?

  • Assists Executive Chef with overseeing scheduling of kitchen staff, new hire orientation and training, and evaluation of kitchen staff.
  • Assists Executive Chef in planning, costing, and executing all menus.
  • Ensures department meets all standards in accordance with State and Federal Health Survey process.
  • Ensures all policies and procedures are followed in accordance with safe work practices.
  • Maintains work assignments for all kitchen employees, assigns projects, spot-check work.
  • Supervises production, sanitation, and food service in community dining rooms.

Assistant Administrator

What You Will Do?

  • Lead care planning and collaborative care meetings to ensure consistency and transparency of residential health and wellbeing.
  • Will assist Administrator in creating a plan of action for building improvements, equipment, and other resources needed for operating an assisted living building
  • Works collaboratively with resident’s family, resident’s medical care team, and internal resources to ensure documentation, medical appointments, prescriptions, and orders are up to date. Will audit charts in the electronic medical record to ensure compliance. Ensures building is in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Day-to-day supervision of assisted living staff. Works collaboratively with nursing leadership and staffing coordinator to ensure appropriate staffing levels.
  • Works collaboratively with internal departments to answer questions of prospective residents and families, prepare information, provide tours, welcome and orient new residents to the community, etc.

Skilled Maintenance Technician

What You Will Do?

  • Perform routine and emergency repairs in the independent living building including correcting electrical malfunctions, repairing and replacing plumbing fixtures, pipes and fittings, repairing and replacing light bulbs and fixtures, doors and locks, etc.
  • Perform all necessary scheduled preventative maintenance procedures on designated equipment while following manufacturer’s recommendations.
  • Respond to emergency calls for system and equipment failure.
  • Completes all work orders in a timely manner while providing detailed information regarding the task(s) performed.
  • Will assist other maintenance personnel, when necessary, in the completion of various projects or repairs.

Server (PT & FT)

Summary:The Server Person is responsible for table service in the Community dining rooms.

Full Job Description:

  • Sets tables and maintains work stations in proper order, moving in a timely manner.
  • Takes orders, provides service and requested items both graciously and courteously within proper time frames
  • Clears dishes from tables during and after meal service appropriately with a tray from the right side of the guest.
  • Answers pertinent questions about menu items. Prior knowledge is needed of menu items before taking an order.

Required Experience

  • Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively.
  • Experience waiting tables in a hotel, restaurant or club with fine dining preferred; will train.
  • Ability to interpret and explain menu, refer or answer questions, coordinate meal service process and understands requests.
  • Ability to work in close cooperation with residents, guests, visitors, families, supervisor and peers. Requires courtesy, tact and graciousness.
