Groundbreaking of New Cottage Homes Further Positions Greenwood Village South as Area’s Leader in Senior Living
Local dignitaries, guests and prospective residents joined with representatives of Greenwood Village South Life Plan Community on September 25th to mark the groundbreaking of its expansion of new independent living cottages.
“This is an exciting day for our community,” said Jordan Morrow, executive director of Greenwood Village South. “Our mission at Greenwood Village has always been to provide ongoing opportunities for seniors to experience an engaging and enriching lifestyle. With this expansion, we will offer more choices for those who want the benefits of a single family home with the advantages of full-service retirement living.”
The new ranch-style cottages will range from 1,300 to 2,014 sq. ft. and be available in four floor plans. Sought-after details will include a sunroom and outdoor patio; full-sized, fully equipped kitchen; high-end finishes; all brick exteriors; a two-car garage and more. Residents will also have access to all the services and amenities of Greenwood Village South.

Greenwood Village South is a not-for-profit community offering independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, memory care and rehabilitative services all on one campus. The community’s health center is rated 5 stars by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), has a deficiency-free rating by the Indiana State Department of Health and offers the area’s most trusted rehabilitation services.
A multi-phase expansion of the community is currently underway.
