Dr. Philip Powell
Dr. Powell is the Executive Director of the Indiana Business Research Center as well as an Associate Clinical Professor of Business Economics at Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, where he has been involved for 28 years. He earned his Ph.D. in economics from Vanderbilt University and B.A. in economics from the University of South Carolina. During his career, Dr. Powell has received numerous teaching awards and is a published scholar on topics in economic development. A current area of his focus is the economic direction of regions within Indiana.
