Our Location

Greenwood Village South is perfectly located on the south side of Indianapolis, so there’s always something to do! The Colts, Pacers, NCAA championships, a great symphony orchestra, and lots of cultural attractions are all just minutes away. And with Greenwood’s 271 acres of recreational space spread across 14 public parks, it’s easy to get outside and enjoy the fresh air. The area is also a golfer’s haven with seven courses nearby. You’ll find excellent shopping and dining, too. The state’s second largest enclosed shopping mall is right down the road!

What is Greenwood Village South?

Greenwood Village South is an accredited, nonprofit nondenominational CCRC offering a full continuum of care. Our lifestyle options include traditional cottages, and spacious apartments for active, independent adults; licensed assisted living apartments for those who require more support, two levels of memory care, including both early to mid-stage and individuals with more advanced disease; rehabilitation and therapy; and a licensed health care center certified by both Medicare and Medicaid. All of these services are offered on a beautiful and historic 52 acre campus conveniently located on the south side of Indianapolis.

Who owns and operates Greenwood Village South?

In a very real sense, our residents are the owners of Greenwood Village South. There are no other shareholders, no investors, no one who profits from the ethical management, financial integrity and quality services of the Village except our residents. As a 501(c)(3) corporation, Greenwood Village South is governed by an all-volunteer Board of Directors. It is managed by a qualified, caring staff of professionals and caregivers who report directly to that Board through a State licensed Executive Director. There is no corporate ownership, no absentee management company, no entity or person standing between the Village and its residents.

What services and amenities are available at Greenwood Village south?

GVS  offers a comprehensive array of services and amenities, including restaurant-style dining, state-of-the art fitness center, a library, and more. Plus, our transportation will take you shopping and to medical appointments.

Will I have a voice in the community?

We invite you to participate in our community resident committees — special committees focused on different aspects of community life. You’re able to actively participate in decisions that decide programming, activities, outings and more.
